FUNCTIONS
Upstream pressure regulation.
The device discharges when the upstream pressure exceeds the calibration value and the downstream
pressure is lower than the upstream pressure. When the upstream pressure is below the calibration value, the device does not discharge and tightness is
assured.
APPLICATIONS
Used as bearer, the device is used to supply the downstream network if the upstream pressure stays over the calibration value. When used to discharge, the device limits the calibration value to the atmospheric flow value in a tank, a reservoir or a network at a much lower pressure; it operates like a discharge valve and is able to output constantly.
USED TO
. Raise a piezometric line
.
Supply a reservoir with the surplus from an upstream
network.
.
Protect a pump against operation at zero flow.
.
Protect a pump against cavitation. |
ADVANTAGES
. Easy adjustment and modification of the calibration
value.
.
Compact device with no external control circuit.
.
Reduced maintenance.
.
Easy cleaning and replacement of the seals without
removal of the device.
. Complete tightness at zero flow.
