FUNCTION
Installed at the outlet of a storm-water basin, the
flow regulator, in compliance with the law on water
dated January 3rd 1992, allows :
. The regulation of drainage flow at a constant rate,
regardless of the water in the basin.
. The avoidance of oversizing the downstream
drainage network.
. The full use of the storage basin capacity.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
A floater that interlocks with an articulated arm
activates a diaphragm that shifts in front of the outlet
opening.
When the water level rises in the basin, the floater rises
and brings about, through rotation, the progressive
reduction in the size of the passage.
The flow regulators ensure a discharge at a constant
rate with a variation less than 5%. |
CONSTRUCTION
. Manufactured in 304L stainless steel
. Ring hub and washers in bronze
. Disc bearing on a high-density polyethylene seat
