GENERALITIES
The range of RAMUS resilient Seated Wafer
Pattern Butterfly Valves are designed for use
on general all-purpose applications and are
suitable for both pressure and vacuum services.
They are suitable for flow in either direction
and provide a bulbe tight shut-off in both
directions. Only a quarter turn operation is
needed to fully open or close the valves.
Excellent flow characteristics with a minimum
pressure drop means the valves can be used for
tight shut-off and regulating duties. Good
resistance to corrosion and all sorts of abrasion
in general.
Dimensions are according to ISO 5752 and NF E
29305 specifications.

The valves have been designed for easy installation
between most standard pipe flanges
(Viz. DIN, ASA and BST) within their pressure
range. Easy mounting at pipe ends by standard
flanges for temporary circuit cut-off.
Fitting of all types of standard manual pneumatic,
hydraulic and electric operators are
according to ISO 5210/1 5211/1 - NF E 29401
and NF E 29402 specifications.
The body and shaft are isolate from the flow
by the seat.
The simplicity of design and only a few moving
parts provide a long service without
maintenance.
